Mojang Studios has announced that Minecraft has sold 300 million copies, making it the best-selling video game of all time. The game surpassed the 200 million mark in 2020 and will be celebrating its 15th anniversary next year. In addition to this milestone, Mojang Studios also revealed upcoming features for the game, including a trial chamber with traps and mobs, as well as new DLCs based on Star Wars and Planet Earth.
