PINP Presentation--ICQ3 During installation, the ICQ server will assign you a unique ICQ number which friends will use to access you. Once you have registered, you can select a list of friends that you would like to communicate with. ICQ will then automatically inform you when one of these friends is online. You can then send them messages, chat with them, etc. by simply left-clicking on their name in the contact list and selecting the appropriate action from the pop-up list. To open up ICQ, either go through the start menu to find the icon OR right-click on the flower icon in your system tray. Make sure to change your status--see info. on status button on next slide.
In fact there are many things that have been left out. If you visit the Mirabilis web site you can see all of the advanced features that you can get into, including making a personal web page which Mirabilis places with your user information. ICQ is a fun and user-friendly software package, so don’t be afraid to follow your nose and explore it. Enjoy!.
