Should there be a Soul Eater remake?

Given that the series ended with a cliffhanger, means that there is still room for more story for a Soul Eater remake. However, the anime ended over 10 years ago, I remember watching Soul Eater as a child, only to be met with disappointment as the series came to an abrupt end, leaving so many loose ends.
