COVID-19 Outbreak At Bethesda, Hospital Remains Open

The province today announced an outbreak of COVID-19 at the hospital in Steinbach. Specifically, the outbreak impacts the Medicine Unit at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. According to Southern Health, outbreak protocols have been implemented at the hospital to ensure the protection of patients, staff and visitors. The regional health authority says it is taking precautionary measures that include visitor restrictions on the Medicine Unit, which is the area of the hospital that accepts patient admissions. The hospital remains open to serve the community with services continuing as usual.
